Responsibilities

The Trainer will conduct supervisory, management, nontechnical, and light technical skills training sessions for internal staff & external lottery retailers.

  • Schedule retailers for classroom or in-store training
  • Create/Maintain training script for classroom and in-store training
  • Script for GT1200, Compact Lottery Terminal, Gemini, and all peripherals
  • Update script as new games or enhancements are made to games
  • Update script to reflect changes in retailer or business rules
  • Maintain retailer database (FileMaker)
  • Update retailer training status
  • Maintain training data including no shows, and waivers
Work closely with the Sales and Recruitment teams to capture retailer needs and with Marketing/Product Development to ensure that training for new products meets the standards of adult learning theory
  • Attend meetings to understand business changes that may impact training needs
  • Coordinate internal training needs with Product Marketing
  • Work closely with the software team to maintain training software.
  • Update/Maintain training terminals in the Regional offices
  • Limited use and/or application of basic principles, theories, and concepts of adult learning theory
  • Develops resolutions to problems of limited scope
  • Follows standard practices and procedures
  • Follows specific, outlined, and detailed procedures
  • Interacts with functional organizations to develop specifications for content of courses
  • Prepares lesson plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented
  • Instructs participants in classroom lectures and/or group sessions
  • Conducts follow up to determine applicability of course material
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in business, sales/marketing or related field or equivalent years of successful work experience
  • 1-2 years of relevant training experience
Skills:
  • Must be able to demonstrate excellent verbal, written, listening, and interpersonal skills
  • Must possess facilitation, presentation, and organizational skills
  • Must possess basic knowledge of ADDIE instructional design principles
  • Must have ability to successfully manage multiple tasks to completion
  • Must be proficient in MS Office and presentation software tools
  • Must have Valid Driver\'s license and able to operate a motor vehicle
