Production Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Production Administrative Assistant to support our production and operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing administrative processes, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring smooth coordination across finance, production, and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities



Business Central Administration



Enter and maintain production and financial data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. Generate and update reports to support decision-making within the production and finance teams.

Accounts Payable & Invoicing



Process supplier invoices accurately and in line with company procedures. Support reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies. Raise and issue customer invoices in a timely manner. Liaise with suppliers and customers regarding invoice queries.

Weighbridge Administration



Accurately record incoming and outgoing vehicle weights using the weighbridge system. Ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements for weighbridge documentation. Communicate load details with drivers, production staff, and logistics teams.

Paperwork & Document Control



Maintain accurate filing systems (digital and paper-based) for production, logistics, and finance records. Prepare and distribute production paperwork, delivery notes, and compliance documents. Assist with audits by providing necessary administrative support and documentation.

General Administrative Support



Support production managers with scheduling and data entry. Provide cover for other administrative functions as required. Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency and accuracy.

Skills & Experience Required



Proven administrative experience, ideally in a production or logistics environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (or similar ERP system). Strong numeracy skills with experience in accounts payable and invoicing. Good understanding of weighbridge operations (preferred but training can be provided). Excellent organisational skills with high attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
