JOB SUMMARY:
  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive team member to serve as our Production and Facilities Coordinator. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting production progress, maintaining an efficient working environment, overseeing machine maintenance, purchasing workshop supplies, tooling, and equipment, coordinating health and safety protocols, ensuring ISO compliance, and managing non-conformance reporting. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively. The successful candidate will collaborate with various departments to maintain a smooth workflow and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
JOB DUTIES:
  • Production Support: Assist in monitoring and optimizing production schedules for timely project completion. Collaborate with production teams to address delays and bottlenecks. Generate and present regular reports on production progress to stakeholders.
  • Facilities Coordination: Assist in coordinating day-to-day facility operations, repairs, cleaning, and security procedures. Identify opportunities for improvement and cost-saving measures in facility management.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Provide essential support in developing and maintaining a comprehensive machine maintenance schedule. Ensure the smooth functioning of machinery to support production activities.
  • Purchasing and Inventory Management: Assist in sourcing and procuring tooling, supplies, and equipment. Support in managing inventory levels to balance availability and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and maintain good relationships.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Assist in implementing and enforcing health and safety protocols and guidelines. Contribute to regular inspections to identify potential hazards and suggest corrective actions. Ensure that all employees follow safety procedures and regulations.
  • ISO Manageme:nt Systems: Play a vital role in the maintaining ISO9001 quality standards. Support the updating of policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance. Collaborate with internal and external auditors for certification. Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes to enhance quality and environmental performance.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Proven experience in a role related to production/manufacturing coordination, facility maintenance, health and safety and ISO compliance.
  • Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer software, including MS Office Suite.
