We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production and Materials Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the production process by assisting with various tasks in a warehouse environment and recording the use of materials in our specialised software and play a key role within our quality management team.
Duties
Loading and unloading of goods.
Checking deliveries are correct and logging them on specialised software.
Picking and packing goods for dispatch.
Booking goods for collection by third parties.
Cycle counting and regular stock checks.
Perform quality checks on products to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain an organised workspace, ensuring materials are stored properly.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
Fork Truck license will be required, although training can be given if necessary.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow specific guidelines.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team as well as independently.
Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
Must be physically fit, capable of lifting heavy items, and standing for extended periods.
