Job description

We are looking for someone to join our production team at our workshop located near Haymarket, reporting directly to the Workshop Manager. The position would be for up to 6 months initially, but may become permanent.

Shift start times may vary as more join the team but you will typically be working 8 hour days, between the hours of 7am - 7pm (normally 9am - 5:30pm).

Your key responsibilities would be (but not limited to)-

Making Gecko Panes Keeping pre and post-production stock organised Quality control checks Wrapping products for delivery Booking postage of products General workshop tasks Adhering to All Health and Safety guide lines

The Ideal Candidate

Ability to work in a fast paced, friendly environment Team player qualities Excellent time management A desire to learn new skills and to help drive company forwards High level of quality control awareness Able to use computers Previous use of power and hand-tools an advantage.
Applicants must be good with their hands, but no processes are difficult, dangerous or require prior experience. All production training will be given with ongoing support. The applicant needs to be able to put things together and be willing to use small power and hand tools.

A driving licence so that candidates can help with customer installations, supporting our main installations manager, would be an advantage but not completely necessary.

Candidates will have the opportunity to undertake a paid trial shift.

Probation period: 6 months

Pay: Real living wage - 12 per hour

Expected hours: 40 hours per week (overtime may be available)

We will be hiring 3-5 staff for this role over the next 3 month and hoping to bring the first new member on board before the end of July.
