Job Description

Our small friendly team in the Hay mill makes Castle coarse mixes for sheep, cattle, goats and horses and provenders for poultry and wild birds. Accredited to both UFAS and NOPS standards the mill manufactures in 20Kg and 25Kg small bags and 500Kg totes and supplies our own HBF stores and leading merchants throughout Wales and the South West.

The job involves:-

weighing out the raw materials to make up a mix
controlling production equipment - conveyors, elevators etc.
filling bags and stacking pallets
sampling bag weights and checking product quality
driving a counterbalanced forklift
operating the weighbridge
receiving materials into the plant
Essential requirements of the job are:-

working with care for yourself and your colleagues at all times - and the equipment
always having respect for the product you will make, that bears our name
Experience:-

in a factory or warehouse will be ideal
a counterbalanced forklift certificate is preferred but is not essential.
you should be physically fit and enjoy working in a small enthusiastic and conscientious team.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 9 months

Pay: 12.25 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
