We are looking for a talented

Production Operator

to join our team specializing in

Manufacturing

for Cummins in

Darlington.

Working 37.5 hpw across 3 shift pattern rotation:

Nights: Sunday to Thursday 10.00pm - 6.00am


Days: Monday to Friday 6.00am - 2.00pm


Backs: Monday to Thursday 2.00pm - 10.00pm and Friday 2.00pm - 7.10pm

RESPONSIBILITIES

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:


This is a full time role, initially a 1 month fixed term contract. Operate manual and automated production equipment safely and efficiently. Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, identifying and reporting hazards. Perform quality inspections and ensure compliance with standard work processes. Maintain production goals while ensuring high-quality output. Work collaboratively with peers and support teams to identify and address equipment issues. Engage in continuous learning and participate in HSE and skills development training. Keep work areas clean and organized, performing routine housekeeping and maintenance tasks. Support process improvements related to safety, quality, and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team. Commitment to workplace safety and following HSE regulations. A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. Ability to meet production targets and work efficiently under minimal supervision

Education/ Experience:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred. Familiarity with standard work procedures, quality control, and safety protocols.
