We are hiring several Production Associate roles, on a 12 month FTC, you will work within an electronics manufacturing facility, either in our Glenrothes or Livingston site, with potential requirement to travel to the alternative site when needed.

There is a variety of shifts available:

Day shift work 37 hours across a 4 day week (Mon - Thurs)

Back shift work 37 hours across a 4 day week (Mon - Thurs; times TBC however approximately 1pm - 11pm. Shift allowance will be included for evening shifts)

We are offering full training to ensure you can be successful within the role, your first few weeks will be part of a training programme to provide you with the necessary knowledge and skills.

Main Duties:

To perform production related tasks required in daily operations within one of the manufacturing business areas.

Tasks may include:

• soldering and inspection to ANSI-J STD/IPC610
• mechanical and wiring assembly
• kit preparation
• bonding and coating.
• testing of assemblies and sub-assemblies using specialised equipment

Candidate Requirements:

Essential:

• Minimum of two standard grades at C/3 pass or above, or previous electronics / mechanical assembly experience
• Good manual dexterity
• Basic PC skills
• Quality focused, a high emphasis on the importance of quality to the customer
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Required to pass basic eye test (including colour blindness)

Desirable:

• Previous electronics and mechanical assembly experience
• Good communication skills
• Organisational skills
