Part of the major American corporation, PCC, we are a global manufacturer of complex metal components and supply products worldwide to our prestigious blue-chip customers.

We currently have vacancies for Shipper packer who will be a part of a wider team within the finishing unit department.

As a Production Associate you will be responsible for the following:-

Loading and unloading vehicles which could include parts for customers, parts to and from other PCC sites, and general deliveries form suppliers. Packing parts ready for shipment to customers, sub-contractors or other PCC sites, which will include the use of cranes, material handling equipment and banding machines. Stock control and movement of bulk chemicals for the finishing unit (following acid awareness training) Control of waste product including hazardous waste such as empty chemical containers. Assist with product movement within the finishing unit and other departments. To apply part marking using a stamping machine when required. Following training advancement into preparation of metallurgical samples. Participate in routine housekeeping activities plus other 6s activities.

Applicants should have a FLT and crane operation experience and a positive, flexible working attitude with a proven track record of self-motivation and the ability to work effectively under pressure, excellent attention to detail and experience of working within a regulated quality controlled process is essential. A flexible working, "can do" attitude and strong team ethic is also required.

Two shift rotation
