About the Role

We are looking for an organised and proactive

Production Controller

to oversee the planning and execution of production schedules, ensuring on-time delivery of goods while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This role requires close coordination with internal teams, suppliers, and sub-contractors to ensure efficient, high-quality production output.

Key Responsibilities

Utilise the MRP system to deliver accurate production documentation and data by: Supporting the Projects team with the creation of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings Releasing production orders in line with agreed production schedules Process production order outputs and accurately record inventory against each order Liaise with the Buyer to ensure 100% material supply in line with demand Raise purchase orders for sub-contract operations as required Coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure operations are completed as planned Communicate directly with customers when required regarding delivery dates and order status Manage customer call-off orders to ensure production demand is generated correctly Resource planning, including: Overtime allocation and control Arranging temporary labour via approved agencies Completion and submission of timesheets Maintain appropriate stock levels at all times, including packaging materials Generate delivery notes as required Participate in regular stock takes Provide holiday and absence cover across other areas when needed Undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by management

What We're Looking For

Previous experience in a production planning, production control, or manufacturing environment Strong organisational and planning skills Experience using MRP systems Good communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments and externally A proactive, flexible approach to work

Working Hours

40 hours per week, Monday to Friday Flexibility to work additional hours when required to meet business needs
