We have a vacancy within our Production Control and Administration Team and are currently recruiting for the role of Production Controller on the Day Shift. We are looking for candidates who have relevant and proven experience seeking an opportunity to develop their skills and join a growing Organisation.
Shift Pattern:
39 hours each week with a flexible starting time between 07:00 and 08:00 Monday to Friday, with a flexible finish time between 16:00 and 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and on a Friday, a finish time of 12.00. You will be entitled to a 30-minute unpaid lunch break between 12:00 and 12:30 Monday to Thursday. Additionally, you will have a 10-minute paid break each morning Monday to Friday and a 10-minute paid break each afternoon Monday to Thursday.

General Responsibilities:
Maintain Sales Order book in a timely manner whilst ensuring all orders meet our current pricing and lead time & MOQ expectations.Formal contract review to be carried out in line with instruction issued
Customer liaison for management of scheduled orders
Follow up with existing customer contacts on potential new business
Customer liaison for regular delivery progress review
Planning of manufacturing priorities by liaison with Team leaders / Supervisors to meet customer demand
Provide customer with delivery notifications as requested
Raising of production works orders to satisfy Customer sales orders using MRP
Maintenance of Javelin works order data
Raising of production works orders to satisfy Customer sales orders using MRP
Maintenance of Javelin works order data
Picking of Sales orders for dispatch and advise Customers with details as required
Support the management of dispatch priorities to meet customer demand
Provide backup support for overcheck activity
Support the management of part marking priorities by use of the Work to List and some manual intervention where customers priorities demand
Support the part marking / packing teams with technical queries
Support the management of Packing priorities
Continuous improvement activities
Support management of company van and pool car in line with company procedures and policy including: allocation of vehicle keys, maintenance of record books, report of incidents or accidents to Company Secretary
