Job Description

You will be a key part of our woven textile mill, ensuring its efficient scheduling to meet customer demands and optimise the efficiency of our production. This is a new role and you will have the opportunity to help shape how it works with the team.

1. Managing the production schedule to ensure that the schedule achieves an optimum mix between on-time delivery and production efficiency.

2. Yarn colour matching and shade passing.

3. Monitoring and chasing yarn orders to ensure that yarn deliveries are on time.

4. Order other raw materials for the mill.

5. Other Duties

The post holder will be also required to perform duties appropriate to the post, other than those given in this job description. The particular duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the duties or the level of responsibilities entailed.

EXPERIENCE

Experience of production planning, ideally in a textile environment.

Some awareness of the role of yarns within the production process.

Any general Textile experience would be advantageous .
