The Production Controller is a pivotal role to the business. It involves working closely with colleagues in particular product managers, production and purchasing personnel to ensure both internal and external customers are satisfied.

JOB SPECIFICATION:
The majority of the work will involve the following:
Complete ownership of our ERP system (Winman). We are looking for an individual who can advance our ERP system to better support the growth and complexity of the Loadmac product. Training will be given.
The creation and maintenance of BOMs, product files, job sheets, and jobs (including non stock jobs).
Entering customer sales orders taking into account production capacity and purchased part lead times. Balancing production demand where possible.
Creating, maintaining and distributing shop floor documentation (e.g. job sheets, work to lists and progress labels). This includes the booking on of jobs once the labour element is completed.
Processing of reject forms (CPA's) and liaising with the relevant department.
Processing Design Change Requests (DCR) : Updating Winman and liaising with Design as required for issue changes.
Reviewing demand and raising purchase orders for parts sourced via our Polish factory.
Support all aspects of Product managers and production to ensure that all both internal and external customers are satisfied.
Responsibility for overseeing and carrying out other projects and work which use your skills and abilities
PERSON SPECIFICATION
It is expected that the successful applicant will possess the majority of the following skills and experience:
Have a positive, enthusiastic and committed approach to work
Highly competent in using Microsoft packages (Word, Excel and Outlook).
Knowledge and experience of BOMs, ERP systems and the creation of shop work instructions/job sheets.
Numerate, logical, organised, tidy and clear thinking.
Highly accurate in data entry.
The ability to express themselves concisely and accurately, both in the written and spoken word.
Excellent communications skills to enable close and accurate liaison with both customers and suppliers, as well as existing personnel.
Knowledge of the philosophy, use and implementation of world class manufacturing techniques.
The ability to work on their own initiative with little supervision and have a good attitude when faced with demanding deadlines
The ability to organise and work extended hours as dictated by customer demand.
* Have a full clean driving licence, be physically fit and historically have lost little time from work.
