Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and optimise CNC programs and tooling to meet exacting customer quality standards
Produce clear setup sheets and oversee the commissioning of new programs, ensuring a smooth handover to production operators
Design and fabricate bespoke fixtures and jigs to improve machining accuracy and throughput
Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications with precision and attention to detail
Collaborate with quality, maintenance, and production teams to maintain 100% part conformance
Lead continuous-improvement initiatives, identifying process enhancements and efficiency gains
Contribute to the future introduction of robots and unmanned systems to boost productivity
Skills & Experience
Proven track record as a Production Engineer or CNC Programmer/Setter in a multi-axis milling environment
Proficiency in Mastercam or similar CAD/CAM software for creating advanced toolpaths and machining strategies
Hands-on experience with setup sheets, program validation, and production handover
Ability to design jigs and fixtures that optimise workflow and part quality
Strong competence in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation
Familiarity with coordinate measuring machines (e.g., Aberlink CMM) is advantageous
Understanding of AS9100 aerospace quality standards is desirable
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
