Production Engineer
Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on Production Engineer to join our team in Cramlington. Working closely with operations, you will develop robust manufacturing processes, guide new products into
production, and continuously improve assembly methods.
Key Duties:
? Improve manufacturing performance using continuous improvement methods
? Support the development of new processes
? Identify and correct issues with non-conforming products
? Take part in team meetings to support production goals
? Identify waste, analyse root causes, and deliver sustainable improvements
? Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with operations
? Analyse performance data and recommend improvements
? Maintain test jigs for production
? Support production operatives with knowledge and training
Key Attributes:
? A strong proactive, problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach
? Flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn and develop
? 5 years' experience in production engineering within a production environment
? Strong communicator across all teams
? Good knowledge of PCB assembly using automated processes
? Excellent problem-solving skills
? Microsoft office experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
