are currently hiring for a Production Filler to fill cylinders with oxygen for use by for NHS patients. We are looking for someone to join our team to complete these duties safely and efficiently, ensuring all of our patients have the oxygen they need.
We offer a generous package including; 33 days holiday (including BH), excellent training and development programs, matched contribution pension scheme to capped percentages per position level, enhanced maternity and paternity leave, yearly bonus scheme, as well as a starting salary of 27,072.50.
Hours:
42.5 hour week - Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm
This role is based in Bedford with free on-site parking. Full training will be provided for all new starters and an extensive programme put in place.
Primary duties & areas of responsibility
Manual handling of cylinders, and liquid oxygen units (LOX), of different sizes and weights
To prepare cylinders for filling, including pre checks, de labelling and inspection
Lifting cylinders in and out of decks throughout the day.
Use of Personal Digital Assistant (PDA's) to scan and enter cylinder information
Liaise with the Quality team to ensure all filled products comply with quality and specific regulations
Manage and fulfil any general admin support function relevant to the processing of fill batches.
Liaise with Warehouse staff to ensure correct products are allocated to designated areas.
To carry out any other general duties as necessary and in accordance with requirements of the business.
