Banner Box are looking for Production General Operative to join their well-established business in printing Large Format textiles PVC and Rigid.

You will be expected to help in operating printing equipment where needed, packing and checking clients orders, fitting products and loading and unloading machines. As well as this, you will also offer help and support to the Sales Team, Studio Team and Finishing Team.

The Production Operative are responsible for ensuring that jobs are packed correctly support other team members where needed in a fast paced environment. You will have a keen eye for detail. You will also be required to keep the working environment clean and tidy.

Responsibilities

Packing goods ready for shipment Supporting the printing staff Storing goods and raw materials in the factory or warehouse Checking orders against proofs. Measuring and cutting out Eyeleting Carrying and Fetching Work Presenting printed work to the Finishing team Help test tension fabric graphics on test rig Loading and Unloading printers Cleaning and maintaining machinery Maintain the working areas of the Production facility ensuring they are clean, tidy and organised fashion and that Health and Safety guidelines are adhered to. Any other tasks as reasonably requested by the Directors or other senior managers.

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, particularly within a warehouse or manufacturing/print environment. A proactive can do attitude towards problem-solving and teamwork is highly valued. The role will require flexibility of working hours to deal with seasonal workload, there will periodically be early starts and late finishes and occasional weekend hours. You'll mainly work in a factory or warehouse. You may spend a lot of your time standing while operating machinery or sitting at a workbench or assembly line.
Standard working hours are 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 08:00 -17:00.
