We are seeking a skilled Lift Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in engineering principles and practices.
Main Duties:
Understand and interpret work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal to complete assembly of products according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Use a variety of hand and power tools following appropriate methods and procedures to complete mechanical assembly of products.
Inspect parts as necessary during assembly, according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Maintain a clean and organised work area and maintain all equipment according to established guidelines and quality standards.
Practice problem solving and troubleshooting techniques as part of a team responsible for continuous improvement to products and processes.
Cross train in other areas of the department as needed.
Continue to drive the LEAN knowledge and use the tools to identify and assist with continuous improvement.
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience. (Preferably from an engineering / Automotive background)
Ability to use own initiative
Flexible attitude to work
Good attention to detail.
Hours of work
Monday - Thursday 06:40am - 16:45pm.
