Production Line Operative

Tiger Tim Products Ltd. is based in Rhosesmor, North Wales and we are the leading manufacturer of Firelighters and BBQ products in the world; due to exceptional business demand, we are looking to extend our workforce by recruiting a number of Production Line Operatives. You will initially be employed on a six month fixed term contract, with a possibility of the contract being extended or becoming permanent thereafter.

As a Production Line Operative you will be working on a busy production line quality checking the product and packaging; whilst promoting a safe working environment in line with the Company's SHEQ procedures.

What you will be doing:

Continually monitoring product quality on the production lines, reporting any defects in materials or products. Packing products ready for dispatch in accordance with specification sheets ensuring all product quality meets the Company standards. Operate and monitor packing machinery and report any defects. Ensuring all Standard Operating Procedures and SHEQ Procedures are adhered to.

Hours of work:

You will be required to work 4 x 12-hours shifts, working 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday on a rotational shift pattern which will include days and nights.

Voluntary overtime may be available to enable us to meet business demand.

What you will need:

Manufacturing experience. Fast paced Production line experience is desirable. Reliable with a positive and hardworking attitude. Be able to work effectively as part of a team. This role will involve standing for long periods of time and lifting. High levels of attention to detail. Available for an immediate start.

An initial 6-month Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility receiving a permanent contract. Competitive pay. Overtime rates Monday to Friday inclusive 1.33%, Saturday 1.5% & Sunday 2.00% Night shift payment - on completion of your shift. Weekly Pay.
