is a family-owned CNC subcontracting workshop based in Llanelli, Wales. We've built our reputation on quality, innovation, and a friendly, supportive culture. With ongoing investment in both people and technology, we deliver precision components for the aerospace, defence, oil & gas, and general engineering sectors.
The Role
We're now looking for a proactive and well-organised
Production & Logistics Coordinator
to help streamline and support our end-to-end workflow -- from goods-in and documentation control to packing and dispatch.
This is a key operational role that bridges the gap between the office and workshop floor. You'll keep jobs moving, materials controlled, paperwork in order, and dispatches delivered on time. It's hands-on, varied, and ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes, and making things run like clockwork.
You'll be joining a supportive team where ideas for improving workflow are welcomed -- and where your efforts will have a direct impact every day.
As a Production & Logistics Coordinator, you will:
Receive and check goods-in materials, match certs, and label stock clearly
Maintain organised WIP areas and control spare stock and racking locations
Ensure job folders have all supporting documentation ready for production and dispatch
Coordinate with CMM inspectors to prioritise inspections and minimise delays
Track job progress through the workshop, flag issues, and log updates in the ERP system
Liaise with operators to chase ETAs and ensure smooth handovers between operations
Pack parts securely, attach correct labels and documentation, and prepare dispatches
Log spare components and customer stock; scan job packs into the ERP
Act as the link between workshop and office, passing on updates, changes, and issues
Support housekeeping, lead monthly walkarounds, and help drive 5S/lean improvements
Report late deliveries, scrap events, and support rework or replacement coordination
Occasionally contact suppliers and customers for delivery scheduling or certs
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or coordination role
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to understand engineering paperwork (POs, material certs, job cards, CofCs)
Confident communicator -- both with shop floor and office staff
Comfortable using ERP systems and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
Forklift licence beneficial but not essential
A hands-on mindset -- someone who can keep things moving and isn't afraid to muck in
