Job Description
Experienced Production Manager sought to run our new facility in Billingshurst. William Sugg and Co Ltd manufacture Heritage Copper Gas and Electric Lanterns by hand and have done so for almost 200 years.
Following a period of sustained growth we are relocating to a new site in Billingshurst. We are looking for an experienced, Lean Sigma trained Production Manager to professionalise manufacturing within the business/
Responsibilities
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes. Manage supply chain logistics and coordinate with ERP systems for optimal resource allocation. Ensure compliance with quality control measures and maintain mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline business processes and enhance overall productivity.
Qualifications
Proven experience in production management and planning to meet Business objectives. Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP systems Expertise in supply chain management and continuous improvement methodologies Mechanical knowledge and understanding of business processes Familiarity with quality control standards and assembly processes Fabrication and Sheet metal experience desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead teams effectively
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 40,000.00-47,500.00 per year
