Salary: 30,000-40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time/Permanent - 6 month probation period
Hours: 37.5 but additional hours may be required.

We're a rapidly growing coffee roastery renowned for delivering excellent quality at scale. We primarily roast coffee for B2B customers. Our company has doubled in size over the past year and is continuing to grow.

The Opportunity

Our packing floor is growing quickly and needs consistent, hands?on leadership. We are recruiting a Production Manager to bring structure, clarity and momentum to daily coffee production. You'll set the plan based on agreed goals, lead the packing team, uphold standards, and ensure orders leave the building right the first time.

Key Responsibilities

Daily production management: agree the production plan and output targets each morning; sequence jobs; adjust priorities as schedules change. Quality & compliance spot checks: verify weights, labels, bag formats and seals; ensure paperwork and digital records are completed accurately and on time. Line management: provide clear direction to packing floor staff; allocate roles, deliver toolbox talks/briefings, monitor and coach for performance. Process creation & improvement: implement simple, robust SOPs and visual standards that keep the floor tidy, safe and efficient. Output monitoring: track throughput, remove barriers and escalate issues promptly, adjust production plan against output in real time. Goods?out management: coordinate finished?goods handover, dispatch readiness, labelling and pallet integrity. Stakeholder communications: communicate changes to stakeholders when required. Quality control: uphold Colonna's standards for product presentation and traceability; capture and action non?conformances. Health, safety & food safety: champion safe, compliant working; ensure training, inductions, PPE and housekeeping standards are met.

About You

Proven experience in production management within food, beverage or a similar fast?paced environment. Confident people manager with a calm, organised approach. Strong eye for detail and quality; comfortable with checklists, SOPs and visual standards. Data?literate: able to track output, record compliance, and use metrics to improve performance. Excellent communicator who can give clear instructions and keep stakeholders informed when plans change. Comfortable being hands?on on the floor where needed.
