Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management and demonstrate expertise in supply chain processes, continuous improvement methodologies, and quality control. This role is pivotal in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the production team to achieve operational targets and maintain high-quality standards. Implement and monitor production schedules, ensuring optimal use of resources and minimising downtime. Utilise ERP systems, to track inventory levels, manage supply chain logistics, and facilitate effective communication across departments. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing production processes and identifying areas for enhancement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality control procedures throughout the manufacturing process. Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate mechanical knowledge into production practices, enhancing overall efficiency. Conduct regular assessments of assembly processes to ensure adherence to best practices and industry standards.

Experience

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. Familiarity with ERP systems is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in process improvement techniques and quality control methodologies. Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members. Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement in production processes.
