our manufacturing operations across 2 sites ( Assembly and Injection Moulding). Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you'll ensure our production processes are efficient and cost-effective and deliver high-quality products on time.
What You'll Do:
Lead and Optimise Production:
Oversee daily operations across two sites, developing and executing detailed daily, weekly, and monthly production plans that align with customer orders and company requirements.
Drive Efficiency and Quality:
Implement continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, 5S, Kaizen) to optimise manufacturing flows, reduce waste, and enhance productivity and product quality.
Team Leadership and Development:
Mentor, motivate, and develop a high-performing production team through coaching, training, performance reviews, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Strategic Execution:
Translate strategic business goals into clear, actionable operational plans, ensuring effective resource utilisation and on-time, in-full delivery.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, waste, quality, and cost, ensuring budget adherence.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments to resolve production-impacting issues and contribute to broader business improvement projects as part of the leadership team.
Health & Safety Champion:
Ensure strict compliance with all legislative and company Health and Safety requirements, conducting audits, investigating incidents, and promoting a safe working environment.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a production management role, ideally across multiple sites.
Knowledge of working with Injection Moulding Machines
Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing and motivating teams.
Expertise in lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Excellent planning, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
Solid understanding of production KPIs and budget management.
Demonstrated commitment to health and safety best practices.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organisation.
