THG LABS offers a unique end-to-end service specialising in the development and supply of premium beauty and cosmetic products to highly respected brands and retailers on a global scale. We now have over 400 talented individuals working across our sites in Trowbridge, Frome and Radstock - including a state-of-the-art laboratory and 98,000 square foot ever-developing manufacturing site.

We are now searching for positive and pro-active Production Manager to join our fast-paced Production team at our Frome site on a full-time basis.

Working hours:

Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm & Friday 8am-4.30pm

Role Overview

Reporting to The Head of Operations, the Production Manager is accountable for the overall performance, efficiency, and output of the manufacturing operation across all shifts. This leadership role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and workforce engagement. The Production Manager will drive a culture of continuous improvement, develop people capability, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

Role Requirements

Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes, systems, and production planning. Experience with KPI management and performance improvement. Sound knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Proficient in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools. Ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions. Effective communication and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organisation. High level of organisational and problem-solving skills. Minimum of 5-7 years of production/operations management experience in a manufacturing environment. Proven experience managing teams in a multi-shift or 24/7 operation. Strong working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production software. Experience with Lean/CI certifications (e.g., Six Sigma Green Belt) is advantageous.
