We are currently seeking a proactive, experienced, and hands-on

Production Manager

to lead, coordinate and manage all aspects of production on our busy shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, manage, motivate and and develop the production team to meet quality and delivery targets. Produce and own production schedules, focusing on resource to maximise efficiency and ensure on-time delivery. Monitor and manage productivity and performance. Ensure adherence to health, safety, environmental, and quality standards at all times. Identify and resolve bottlenecks. Monitor production costs and implement strategies to stay within budget while maintaining quality. Liaise with all departments to support project delivery and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and workforce development. Report key metrics and key performance indicators to Head of Ops.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Proven experience as a Production Manager or a similar leadership role within a heavy engineering or fabrication environment. Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in fabrication and welding. Excellent leadership and people management skills. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications. Good knowledge of HSE standards and quality control systems. MRP/ERP experience, ideally Sage 200. Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
