INVISTA is looking for a motivated Production Leader to provide day to day management of the production area and organisation, whilst seeking to support and implement transformation strategies to advance the Gloucester site.

What You Will Do

• Day to day management of the production area and organisation; including EHS, People, Quality & Productivity.
• Develop and drive plant performance through use/review of metrics (KPI), scorecards and key PowerBI reports.
• Establish clear performance expectations, monitor, and provide continuous feedback to promote team / individual development and growth.
• Provide leadership to continue the transformation of the culture to align with PBM\xc2\xae and create an \'on aim\' environment.
• Connect individuals and teams to the INVISTA Vision whereby every employee is an owner and Principled Entrepreneur \xe2\x84\xa2 in their role driving and embracing change.
• Actively maintain Safe System of Work & Management of Change (MOC) systems; ensure all work and change is adequately controlled and assessed.
• Lead change; identify and drive change to positively impact production area.
• Promote operational excellence and operating discipline; drive high standards to all areas of operations (EHS, Quality, Standard work practices etc.\xe2\x80\xa6)
• Coordinate with internal service providers (Maintenance, Engineering, Technical, HR) to ensure plant productivity is maximised.
• Work with the site planning team to set priorities and gatekeep maintenance and improvement activities within the area.
• Maintain emergency preparedness systems and organisational capability.
• Coach the application of PBM\xc2\xae to achieve better results.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience of working in a highly specified, quality critical manufacturing environment. (Manufacturing, Food, Chemicals, Pharma, Automotive)
• Experience in leading change to add value. E.g. Organisational, Engineering or Technical projects
• Excellent IT capability: proficient in use of Microsoft Office and IT systems e.g. Plant historians.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, demonstrated in technical environment.
• Experience with control of work (PtW) and Management of Change.
• Experience with quality systems. E.g. ISO9001 & ISO14001

What Will Put You Ahead

• Passion for developing culture and capability in others
• Supervisory experience, including performance management.
• Ability to operate and influence at different levels of the organisation.
• Experience of statistical process control (SPC) and analytics.
