LWM is delighted to be partnering with a globally recognised manufacturing business, in Staffordshire, to support their next phase of growth and appoint their new Production Manager.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Production Manager to take full operational ownership of day-to-day manufacturing activities.

The Production Manager will be responsible for factory level performance across three key areas - output, safety, and cost - including direct responsibility for production budgets. The ideal candidate will be confident presenting performance updates and budgetary outcomes to senior leadership and will drive measurable improvements in productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage daily factory operations to achieve production targets. Ensure safety, quality, and productivity standards are met and continuously improved. Develop and manage production budgets, report variances, and drive cost efficiencies Prepare and present performance updates and data-driven insights to senior leadership. Lead, coach, and develop the production team to build a culture of accountability and excellence. Drive continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes, and output. Work cross-functionally with planning, procurement, and engineering teams to deliver results.

About You

Proven experience in a

production or manufacturing management

role. Experience of injection moulding, automation and plastics industry (not essential) Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Confidence working with data, KPIs, and budgetary control. Familiar with modern manufacturing practices and continuous improvement principles. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Pay: 55,000.00-60,000.00 per year
