We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead and coordinate the daily operations of our manufacturing function.
This role ensures that all production activities comply with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental standards, while meeting targets in Quality, Delivery, and Cost. You will drive continual process improvement to support efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
What you'll be doing;
Ensure production activities align with Health & Safety, Environmental, and Quality System standards.
Manage production resources (people and plant) to deliver products on time, to budget, and to specification.
Implement and utilise capacity planning tools, oversee work schedules, and ensure skills availability across the team.
Champion a culture of QHSE compliance and customer focus in partnership with the wider management team.
Recruit, onboard, train, and develop production staff, maintaining a robust training matrix and succession plans.
Apply Lean methodologies (5S, 7 Wastes, 5 Whys, OEE improvements) to drive efficiency and cost reduction.
Monitor, analyse, and improve KPIs including H&S, Quality, Delivery/OTIF, Productivity/OEE, and Cost.
Collaborate with supporting functions to communicate risks and opportunities impacting production targets.
Lead, motivate, and develop the production team to create a culture of high engagement and performance.
Identify opportunities for improvement and lead projects from initiation to completion.
