About Us


Good Empire is a creative production studio offering laser cutting, engraving, CNC routing, waterjet cutting, vinyl, embroidery and fabrication services. We collaborate with global brands such as Adidas, Cartier, and Sipsmith, as well as smaller businesses and individual creators. Our projects range from high-end installations to R&D prototyping, all delivered with precision, creativity, and attention to detail.


We are based in a workshop in a railway arch in Streatham, where we manufacture all of our projects in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.



Role Overview


We are seeking a proactive, organized, and hands-on

Production Manager

to lead and oversee our workshop operations. This role is key to ensuring that client projects are delivered to the highest standard-from quoting and planning to fabrication and installation.


Ideal candidates will have experience in manufacturing, fabrication, print, construction, or related fields. However, we are also open to applicants with strong leadership and team management experience from other industries, and we are happy to offer training on our specialist equipment.



Key Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day production schedules and workflows Liaise directly with clients to understand briefs and produce accurate quotations Oversee and support the production team, ensuring project deadlines are met Operate and program machines including laser cutters, CNC routers, and waterjet systems Ensure high standards of quality control and manufacturing best practices Contribute to hands-on fabrication and workshop operations Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Perform routine equipment maintenance Assist with installations and on-site work when required


Essential Skills & Experience

Project management and workflow coordination Experience producing client quotes and interpreting technical drawings CAD software proficiency (please specify which you use) Strong problem-solving skills and initiative Excellent manual dexterity, accuracy, and attention to detail Strong understanding of materials used in fabrication Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Desired Skills (Not essential but a plus)

Familiarity with laser cutting, CNC, or similar equipment Experience using woodworking tools and power tools Full UK driving license (for use of our electric van for local installations) Background in site work, events, or installations Experience with quality control systems and manufacturing operations
