What we're looking for:




We are seeking a technically confident and highly organised

Production Manager

to join the Drumsheds production team. Reporting into the

Senior Technical Production Manager

, you'll be instrumental in supporting the end-to-end planning and delivery of all technical production across the venue's wide-ranging calendar of shows.


This role will suit a hands-on, solution-driven individual with strong technical knowledge and experience delivering high-capacity events. You'll be confident liaising with suppliers, artists, and cross-functional teams, with a proactive mindset and excellent attention to detail. This is an exciting opportunity to grow within a high-performing team and help deliver some of the most ambitious events in the UK.

What you'll be responsible for:



Technical Production Support



Supporting the Senior TPM in all areas of technical production across Drumsheds events. Assisting with pre-planning, live event delivery, and de-rig operations. Escalating technical challenges and onsite issues to the Senior TPM as needed.

Design & Planning



Working with creative and planning teams to interpret show briefs and develop technical plans. Assisting with CAD drawings and site overlays across rigging, lighting, audio, video, and staging. Supporting noise management protocols and onsite monitoring.

Supplier & Procurement Coordination



Managing day-to-day communication with production suppliers, subcontractors, and technical vendors. Tracking deliveries, fulfilment, and contract compliance in line with agreed specifications and timelines.

Budget & Documentation



Supporting budget management with cost tracking and reporting to the Senior TPM. Identifying opportunities to reduce costs without compromising production quality.

Advancing & Delivery



Coordinating artist and brand advancing, including tech riders, site visits, and fulfilment of production requirements. Supporting external promoters and brands to ensure clear communication of venue capabilities and constraints.

Team Development



Providing mentorship to junior production team members and freelance staff. Supporting the delivery of Health & Safety best practice across all production operations.

You'll need to have:



5+ years' experience in live event or venue production, including 1+ year in a lead or supervisory role. Proven track record coordinating large-scale technical builds (2,000+ capacity). Confident understanding of rigging, audio, lighting, video, staging, and power systems. Strong commercial and organisational skills; comfortable tracking budgets and procurement processes. Excellent communicator, with the ability to work calmly under pressure and across multiple teams. CAD proficiency (Vectorworks, AutoCAD, or similar); able to read and interpret technical drawings. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to meet event demands.

Nice to have:



IOSH or NEBOSH certification. * Familiarity with large venue operations and licensing procedures.
