'Studio B' are looking for an experienced

Production Manager

to join our team full-time in London!


Studio B is a fast-moving, fast-growing creative production company with an audience of 21 million + followers and we create new exciting content every week. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive

Production Manager

to work closely with our Head of Production, ensuring the smooth running of all projects from planning to delivery. This role is pivotal in building and refining our production processes, optimising resources, and supporting our growing team.


We're looking for a candidate who loves the social space (Youtube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and wants to be a part of a buzzy, vibrant team who are all driven by creating incredible content! We are a collaborative company, so everyone is involved in the brainstorming/idea creation process and we would love to have a like-minded individual join our team and be part of this.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational & Process Support



Assist the Head of Production in implementing and maintaining efficient workflows and organisational systems. Keep project documentation, schedules, and guidelines up to date. Identify and suggest process improvements to increase efficiency.

2. Resourcing & Staffing



Coordinate daily production resourcing and match the right people to the right projects.
Manage onboarding for freelancers and staff, including rate negotiations and contracts.
Maintain a reliable freelance network to meet changing production needs.

3. Budget & Reporting



Monitor project budgets and P&L, flagging overspend early and suggesting solutions.
Prepare regular operational and financial reports for the Head of Production.

4. Scheduling & Project Oversight



Review schedules for feasibility and balanced resourcing.
Track overtime and workloads to protect team wellbeing.
Support producers in resolving scheduling challenges.

5. Team Coordination & Wellbeing



Act as a liaison between departments, ensuring smooth communication.
Conduct regular one-to-ones and manage holiday/TOIL requests fairly.
Promote a positive work culture and address conflicts proactively.

6. Compliance, Quality & Development



Ensure productions meet quality, safety, and compliance standards.
Oversee insurance requirements for projects and staff.
Support sustainability initiatives and coordinate training and professional development opportunities.

Skills Required



Leadership & Team Management

- Ability to lead, motivate, and support a diverse production team while fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.

Communication & Stakeholder Liaison

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working effectively with internal teams, clients, and new business leads.

Organisation, Time Management & Problem-Solving

- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects, prioritise deadlines, and resolve challenges quickly and effectively.

Technical & Production Knowledge

- Understanding of industry-standard production techniques, workflows, and technologies, with the ability to apply them effectively.

Budgeting & Resource Allocation

- Proven experience managing budgets, allocating resources, and ensuring efficient use of financial, human, and technical assets.

Talent & Resource Sourcing

- Skilled at identifying, hiring, and onboarding freelance and contract crew to meet project needs and manage workload peaks.

Workflow, Systems & Risk Management

- Implementing organisational systems to streamline processes, while proactively identifying risks and creating contingency plans to keep projects on track.

Experience/ Qualifications:



Proven experience as a Production Manager or Senior Production Coordinator in a fast-paced creative or post-production environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to juggle multiple projects at once. Proficiency in production management tools (e.g., Monday.com, Google Workspace, slack). Excellent communication skills for working with in-house teams, freelancers, and clients. Calm under pressure, solution-oriented, and proactive in problem-solving. Strong background in visual effects (VFX) to understand the unique requirements and workflows. Solid experience in budgeting and financial planning for production and post-production projects. Experience working across both production and post-production, with an understanding of the complete project lifecycle. * Bachelor's degree in film, media production, business administration is preferred but not essential
