Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee and enhance our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management, with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement. This role involves leading a team to ensure efficient operations while maintaining high standards of product quality and safety.

Duties

Oversee daily production activities, ensuring adherence to quality standards and business processes. Implement and manage systems for effective production planning and scheduling. Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications and standards. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency within the production line. Collaborate with supply chain teams to optimise inventory management and resource allocation. Provide mechanical knowledge support to troubleshoot equipment issues and improve operational reliability. Train, mentor, and develop production staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and accountability. Prepare reports on production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

Requirements

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of business processes related to production operations. Familiarity with SAP or similar enterprise resource planning systems is advantageous. Excellent mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment effectively. Demonstrated experience in quality control methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational goals. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.
