PRODUCTION MANAGER - INSIDE IR35 - \xc2\xa339.55 PER HOUR - BPSS (WILLING TO UNDERGO SC CLEARANCE) - PORTSMOUTH - 12 MONTHS - SINGLE STAGE INTERVIEW PROCESS

Yolk Recruitment are recruiting for a Production Manager to join our client on an initial 12 month deal working from Portsmouth in Hampshire.

Client: Join our dynamic engineering client at the forefront of digital product development. They specialize in cutting-edge technology, focusing on space flight processors for satellite manufacturing. As they expand their team, they are seeking a Production Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in their high-spec cleanroom environment, working on leading-edge products.

Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for managing resource planning (manpower and machinery) to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective production. Your duties will include:

Resource Optimization: Collaborate with the shop floor team to optimize resource allocation, including facilities and manpower, to meet production planning goals.

Global Planning: Define and update comprehensive production plans, considering multiple concurrent projects and their priorities.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

Work Package Management: Proven experience in work package management.

Production Environment: Previous work experience in a production environment.

Project Planning: Strong background in project planning and P6 scheduling.

Desirable:

SAP Manufacturing Execution Systems: Knowledge of SAP MES is a plus.

Team Management: Experience in team management is desirable.

Essential Experience:

Essential:

• High Reliability Manufacturing: Demonstrable evidence of working in a high-reliability manufacturing production line.

Desirable:

Space Manufacturing Assembly: Understanding and experience in a Space Manufacturing Assembly line is highly desirable.

Project Management: Experience in project management would be an asset.
