Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Manager to oversee our High Risk department on the PM shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Production Manager will play a crucial role in managing the supply chain, optimising assembly processes, and ensuring that all production activities align with company goals.

Duties

Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality control. Implement and manage continuous improvement strategies to enhance production processes. Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components. Conduct regular assessments of mechanical systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all employees. Train and mentor production staff on best practices in assembly and quality control. Analyse production data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for optimisation.

Requirements

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of SAP and ERP systems is essential. Familiarity with supply chain management principles and practices. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma. Mechanical knowledge is highly desirable to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team. Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in quality control processes. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with various stakeholders.
