Fountain Foods Limited are prepared vegetable specialists supplying a range of chilled and frozen processed fruit and vegetables.

We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Production Manager to support our continued growth. A team-player with a can-do attitude, you will lead and motivate the site production team.

Main duties & responsibilities include:

Lead and manage the production team across site to ensure production targets are met and efficiencies are monitored. Ensure efficient labour usage in all areas of the business. To maintain efficient production of all company products, which includes minimising loss of raw material and packaging during the production process. Track and analyse production data to ensure production targets are being achieved Monitoring of downtime and liaising with all departments to minimise. Responsible for operational compliance to food safety, quality, hygiene and H&S standards. Actively assist in the management of health and safety on site with the management of the H&S system Lead on continuous improvement activities within production to reduce costs whilst maintaining safety and legal compliance Set and maintain factory and external GMP and fabric standards to ensure factory is audit ready at all times. Being an active member of the HACCP team. Ensure that production have the tools required to complete their task in full and safely.

Qualifications and experience:

Minimum of 3 years experience as a production/operations manager, ideally within food manufacturing H&S qualification (IOSH / NEBOSH) Experience / qualified in HACCP, COSHH, Continuous Improvement, Lean manufacturing
