Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management and demonstrate expertise in supply chain processes, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Duties

Manage daily production activities to ensure efficient operations and adherence to production schedules. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise supply chain processes and enhance overall productivity. Implement and monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards in product output. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analysing production processes and identifying areas for enhancement. Oversee the use of ERP systems, including SAP, to manage inventory, track production metrics, and streamline operations. Provide mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure minimal downtime during production runs. Facilitate training and development for production staff to promote skill enhancement and adherence to best practices in assembly processes.

Experience

Proven experience in a production management role within a manufacturing environment is essential. Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices. Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability in process improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma is advantageous. Knowledge of mechanical systems and quality control standards is required. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams towards achieving operational goals.
