Job Description

A Production Manager, is responsible for all the manufacturing-related activities in a factory. Their primary duties include planning, coordinating and controlling all the steps in the production process to make sure products are delivered on time and within the budget. Their main duties and responsibilities include:

Overseeing manufacturing and production processes Execute daily production schedules Procuring factory production equipment and taking responsibility for its maintenance Oversee 12 Production Staff Striving to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines Maintaining hygienic conditions for both employees and the factory itself Implementing all the company's procedures and policies Communicating any problems or obstacles to senior management Monitoring productivity rates, standards and quality control Training and coaching Factory Operators and Sorters Implementing safety, health, environment and quality requirements Ensuring that production processes are in line with company and regulatory requirements Accurately completing all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance Informing a production team of preferred occupational health and safety practices Communicating expectations to production team members and evaluating their performance Regularly checking the machinery and checkpoints to ensure safe and efficient workflow Managing the repair or replacement of faulty production equipment Ensuring all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly

Hours

6.30am - 17pm Monday to Thursday (2 x 15 mins break / 1 x 30 mins dinner) = 9.5 Hours Working

6.30am - 12.30pm Friday (1 x 15 mins break)= 5.75 Hours Working

Total Working = 43.75

Holidays

All bank holidays and approx. 11 days holidays over the Xmas Period

Approx 121.75 Hours holiday to use throughout the year (if 1st February pro-rota thereafter)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 37,000.00-38,000.00 per year
