We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join Stannah, based at Pioneer Road, Andover.


This role involves working within the Retractable Rail Department to produce high-quality retractable rail units for customer orders. You will be responsible for following Standard Operating Procedures and supporting the achievement of daily production targets.

As the Production Operative, you will work 37 hours, 08:00 to 16:45 Monday - Thursday and 08:00 to 13:00 Friday, and this is a permanent contract.

This is a great opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who is looking to grow within a supportive and forward-thinking team.


To be successful as a Production Operative, you must have previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Experience in Continuous Improvement or multi-skilled production work would be desirable.

Production Operative Responsibilities:

Work safely in line with Company Health & Safety policies and procedures. Carry out all operations in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures. Support Continuous Improvement activities to enhance product and process quality. Maintain 5S standards and ensure a clean, organised working environment. Contribute to achieving right-first-time quality targets.

Qualifications

Production Operative Requirements:

Experience working in a modern manufacturing or production environment. Knowledge of the safe use of hand-operated tools. Proactive approach to identifying and preventing potential quality issues. Understanding of Continuous Improvement principles. Strong awareness of Health & Safety procedures and best practices.
