Job Summary

As an important member of the production team, the successful candidate will be responsible for operating thermoforming machines to manufacture high quality plastic punnets safely and efficiently. This role involves operating machinery, monitoring production processes, performing quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities include:

Operate and monitor thermoforming machines to manufacture plastic punnets in accordance with standard operating procedures. Set up and adjust machines for different production runs, ensuring high performance and minimum downtime. Work closely with other team members to achieve production targets and maintain a positive work environment. Conduct regular quality checks on the finished product to ensure they meet established specifications and customer standards. Maintaining accurate records of production quantities and times, equipment status, and issues encountered. Pack, palletise, wrap and label trays in the appropriate manner.

Good level of written & spoken English language Ability to demonstrate high level of attention to detail whilst working in a fast-paced environment Ability to work on your own initiative whilst working with other team members and departments to optimise production efficiency and quality Flexible and adaptable to various tasks Possess good communication skills High degree of safety awareness Flexibility with regards to working hours and shifts Proven experience in production with evidence of mechanical aptitude advantageous
