Monday - Wednesday night, 6pm - 6am with a 12 hour clean every fourth Sunday. The Shift includes a 30 minute paid break and 30 minutes unpaid break.

Overview
To operate the plant in accordance with stated procedure and ensure that production plans are met and to carry out tasks in the Factory as required. To ensure that all aspects of the stated operations agenda are met with regard to Profit, Quality, Risk, Supply and Team development.
The work takes place in a factory on a production line and involves manual work. Post-holders spend considerable periods of time standing while operating machinery and are required to wear protective clothing, such as overalls and safety shoes, which are provided.
The role may be suitable for someone with good practical skills, who works quickly and accurately, is a good team-worker and is able to concentrate over long periods. New recruits will have basic numeracy and English Language skills and will be able to follow safety and hygiene instructions.
Main Responsibilities & Duties
Profit
To be available to operate the plant according to agreed schedules
To run plant to specified output rates
To ensure the correct usage of materials
To complete documentation showing wastage, downtime, run time and output
Quality
To operate according to specified personnel hygiene standards
Ensure standard operating procedures are followed
Complete specified HACCP checks
Clean the plant as scheduled, ensuring that agreed cleaning standards are met
Risk
Adhere to HACCP and safety procedures
Ensure adherence to site PPE requirements
Complete stated safety pre-start checks
Supply
Ensure achievement of target throughput rates
Ensure completion of daily schedule
Ensure accurate booking of finished stock
Team
To complete training, as provided for you to meet the job requirements
To cover for other Team Members as directed by your Shift Manager
Qualifications and skills
Essential:
Numeracy and English language skills, which will be tested at interview
No formal qualifications are needed

Desirable:
Experience working in Food Manufacturing

Current Hygiene + Health and Safety certificate
Forklift truck licence
