Job Description

We have several vacancies for both On line and Off line Production Operatives, working on the production line as a team rotating in the various stages of the production of PU mouldings.

On Line Production Operative

duties include; cleaning, spray waxing and injection filling of the moulds.

Please note the role requires the job holder to undertake repetitive heavy lifting (opening & closing of moulds).

Off Line Production Operative

duties include; trimming, buffing, inspection and packing etc

The successful candidates will have a good understanding of health and safety awareness and able to understand written and verbal instructions.

Whilst full training will be provided for the role, experience of working in a similar manufacturing or production environment is preferable.

These duties involve working in close proximity with moving mechanical parts. Chemicals, for example isocyanates, are used in the production process.

Hours of work are:

Monday to Thursday; 7.00 am to 4.00pm and Friday; 7.00 am to 1.00 pm (40 hours)

As a Production Operative, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed efficiently. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will utilize your mechanical knowledge and proficiency with hand and power tools to perform tasks effectively. The role involves heavy lifting and requires prior warehouse experience to navigate the physical demands of the job. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining production schedules and supporting the overall success of our manufacturing operations.
