Job description:

Reports to Line Leader

Assisting in the entire packing of all food products

Operating machinery and equipment as required

Responsible for productivity of the line and hitting targets

Reports to the Line Leaders with any issues within the line i.e. maintenance & labels etc.

Ensures the correct stock and equipment is being used

Responsible for ensuring instructions are carried out correctly from Line Leaders

Ensuring the correct quantities are produced and to the quality standards

Responsible for carrying out cleaning duties correctly as directed

Responsible for allergen and organic controls

Assisting with the achievement of production targets

Minimizing production costs and minimising wastage

Follow information and instruction

Demonstrating the competent application of good manufacturing practices required to operate at standards of food quality and food safety

Comply with company hygiene policies and procedures

Work in a safe manner with due consideration for personal and co-worker's health and safety at all times

Attend training courses/ sessions

Work as a team, treating other members of staff with dignity and respect

Communicate effectively with co-workers and Management

Any other duties to fulfil the company needs

If trained only, use the metal detector to detect any metal in individual packed products and sign off as part of a CCP
