We are currently seeking a reliable Production Operative to join our clients growing team. As a Production Operative, you will play a crucial role in our chemical manufacturing process, performing a variety of tasks on the production line and assisting with warehouse duties. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a busy chemical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Carry out production line tasks, including but not limited to filling, assembling, packaging, and labelling products.
• Operate machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, following Safe Systems of Work.
• Perform regular quality checks and inspections to identify any defects or abnormalities in the products.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe working environment.
• Prepare raw materials for production, ensuring they are readily available for use.
• Liaise with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives by providing feedback and suggesting ideas for increased efficiency.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including but not limited to health and safety guidelines, quality standards, and production schedules.

• Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
• Physical fitness and ability to perform repetitive tasks while standing for extended periods.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and meet production targets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management purposes.
• Forklift or other relevant machinery operation experience would be advantageous.
