General Maintenace and Assembly Operative

to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting various operational tasks, ensuring smooth production processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

Ability to read and interpret working drawings and technical diagrams. Display a calculated and measured approach towards tasks. Perform assembly, dismantling and casting tasks as required and adhering to safety standards and quality specifications. Apply mechanical knowledge to analyse and repair equipment or components. Support routine maintenance activities to prevent machinery downtime and improve operational efficiency. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Deliver excellent customer service and adhere to delivery times by addressing operational issues promptly and professionally.

Experience

Strong understanding of mechanical systems and technical drawings. Some previous experience in welding, brazing and mechanical maintenance is highly desirable, but training can be given. A self reliant, proactive and driven individual with an investigative nature and previous experience in this environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of health and safety regulations within an industrial or manufacturing setting. Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal. Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional finished product in a demanding environment. This role requires a dedicated individual with an energetic attitude, technical understanding in mechanical systems and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality across all operations.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 14.00-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38.25 per week
