Job Summary:

We have an opening for motivated and energetic individuals with a background in cabinet making to join our busy production environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for those who thrive in a fast-paced setting and enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. The job is part of our building team, building various carcasses following set specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Cabinet Production:

Utilize MFC board and hand tools to produce cabinets, panels, and other components according to production schedules.

Productivity Maintenance:

Ensure consistent productivity in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship and minimizing defects.

Team Collaboration:

Assist colleagues as needed and work effectively both independently and with minimal supervision.

Workplace Maintenance:

Keep the work area clean and organized, minimizing downtime and adhering to health and safety policies.

Customer Satisfaction:

Foster a culture of exceeding customer expectations through quality work and timely delivery of orders.

Cross-Departmental Duties:

Perform duties in other departments as required and undertake necessary training to meet role expectations.

Qualifications:

Experience:

Previous experience in cabinet making or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

Strong time management, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure, ability to lift, and carry heavy items, as well as stand for long periods of time.

Attitude:

Positive, can-do attitude with excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Working Hours:

Standard Hours:

42 hours per week Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Overtime:

Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM (as required by business needs)

Pay will vary depending on experience.
