Job Description

Castell Howell Foods is Wales' leading independent food service wholesaler, servicing the length and breadth of Wales, the Border Counties and the South West of England. We currently have a vacancy for a Production Operative based at our meat processing plant Celtica, in Cross Hands.

Main Duties and Responsibilities



Prepare and produce mixes in a controlled environment to exact recipes according to daily orders and traceability Ensure all prestart checks are completed Be vigilant in checking quality Maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and Food Hygiene practices Adherence to Health and Safety practices and standards in line with current legislation ensuring your work area is clutter free and safe Follow and monitor a daily and weekly cleaning schedule Maintain stock rotation according to correct storage of food products Observe the correct method and implementation of packaging and labelling

What we offer:



Full-time contract working Sunday-Thursday 18:00-04:00. (During the 4 week training period you will be required to work Monday-Friday). 35,100.00 per annum 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays.
