30,000 per annum

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 4:30pm (45 hours per week)

CargoStop is a UK manufacturer and distributor of high-quality load restraint and load safety equipment. We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Production Operative to join our production team and support the continued growth of our business.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in quality, and thrives in a structured, safety-focused environment.

The Role

You will work within our production room, supporting the manufacture and preparation of customer orders to a high standard. Reporting to the Operations Manager and supervised day to day by the Production Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring products are produced to the highest standard, safely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities

Producing customer orders of load safety equipment such as ratchet straps accurately using sewing machinery and raw materials Inspecting finished products to ensure they meet quality standards Packing completed products ready for despatch or stock Identifying and reporting quality issues, damages, or discrepancies Carrying out stock checks when required Preparing products for timely despatch Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe production area Following all health and safety procedures and reporting hazards promptly Supporting colleagues and assisting in other areas when required

Skills & Experience

Essential:

Experience in a production, manufacturing, or warehouse environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Calm, reliable, and able to work to production targets

Desirable:

Experience using sewing machinery (training can be provided for the right candidate)
