Production Operative (Coldstore / Goods In)
Production operatives required for our freezer and goods in departments. Duties will include receiving goods, stock control and picking orders in very low temperature environment and packing orders ready for despatch to our customers.
Previous experience in food production, working in a coldstore / freezer / goods received would be an advantage although full training will be provided. Experience of using a forklift would be an advantage.
Duties will be varied and include unloading, checking, weighing and booking in of deliveries of food products; stock placement, rotation and fulfilment for other departments in the factory. Also receiving goods, stock control and picking orders in very low temperature environment and packing orders ready for despatch to our customers.
A high attention to detail is required along with good numeracy skills
These roles require an energetic person willing to work under their own initiative
These are permanent positions. Wage rates are negotiable and dependant on relevant experience.
Dayshift hours are typically 7.30am to 4.30pm (5pm on Thursdays) plus one in 3 Saturday mornings.
Please note that candidates must have own transport - due to our location
