Main Job Responsibilities:
Machine Operation:
Operate and monitor production machinery to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
Assembly & Packing:
Assemble components and package finished products in accordance with company standards.
Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of products to ensure they meet quality specifications; report any defects or issues.
Material Handling:
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods; manage inventory as required.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Cleaning & Maintenance:
Maintain cleanliness of work areas and assist in routine maintenance of equipment.
Team Collaboration:
Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
About You:
Experience:
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is required.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
Flexibility:
Willingness to work shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends, as required.
Qualifications:
GCSEs or equivalent; specific certifications such as Health & Safety would be beneficial depending on the role.
Personal Attributes:
Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Proactive, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Ability to work independently.
Strong ethical standards and integrity.
